TOP 10 Most Ugliest Motorcyle
The Number 1 Ugliest Motorcycle of All Time: Buell Lightning. How to take a perfectly wonderful Sportster motor and wrap it inside a train wreck. The whole bike looks like it's sitting in a scrap yard after an 80 mph head on collision with an Amtrak. There are no words to describe the profound repulsive hideousness of this... thing!
Number 2: KTM 690. There simply is no excuse for this sort of design. The may seen as some sort of trendsetting supermotard design, but all it does is just uglify a market segment that is already producing the ugliest bikes around. Maybe the proboscis should be made out of metal so that it can impale pedestrians who get in the way.
Number 3: Honda V45 Magna. Admittedly it was close when placed up against the Suzuki Madura (aaargh!) but the Honda won the battle since it has even more tacked on pipes, bars, slabs and pointless doohickeys than the Manure-a.
Number 4: Honda Rune. The price of a custom-built cruiser without any of the style. The designers of this long, low, bulky battleship may have thought they were setting new styling trends, but all they did was forge a joke. The fenders should have been put back on the 1929 Reo Flatbed where they came from and the exhaust pipe should have had a guard to keep cats from crawling in there and going to sleep.
Number 5: BSA Rocket 3. The original Rocket 3 is even uglier than its bastard offspring. Obviously designed by Gerry Anderson for use in his futuristic puppet shows, it's hard to believe that this same basic bike was marketed as the Triumph Trident which had Bonneville-styled good looks.
Number 6: Triumph Rocket 3. I'm all for innovative styling but this monster just looks like it's an engineering mule. the other side of the bike at least has some visual interest with the three inline cylinders. This side is just cobbled together with shapes that don't fit and curves that don't jibe. Maybe they should have made the already huge picture frame radiator larger and hid the whole bike.
Number 7: Kawasaki KZ1300. Design a great six cylinder inline engine, make sure no one can see the beautiful cascading pipes by hiding them behind a Ford F350 radiator, then hide the rest of it beneath a tank that is shaped like the seated rear end of an obese man. Mix with square headlight and instrument panel and a tail section from a Suzuki GS. Mix and puke.
Number 8: Yamaha Roadliner: Ugly is as ugly does. If you look carefully at the trailing curve of the front fender, you'll think it's an optical illusion. The Art Deco overlay on this bike is like styling a minivan inspired by Michael Keaton's Batmobile. can someone please tell me what those triple lines are doing around the frame neck?
Number 9: Suzuki SV1000. How to take a phenomenal motor and bury it inside angular and completely pointless styling. Is that bottom scoop designed to plough a path for the rear wheel in snow?
Suzuki SV1000. Takes naked styling to a new low. The only great thing about this bike is the engine, so they hide it!
Number 10: Honda CB400F. Honda destroyed the jewel-like CB350 Four after just one year of production and replaced it with this square-edged faux racer junkpile. The exhaust pipes set a new low in idiotic styling and the rest of it is so undescript that it barely even registers. Ride it for two hours and you'll have holes in your legs where those saddle rivets are.
Honda CB400F. Nondescript tank, leg perforating rivets on the seat, and I'm sure a good welder can straighten those exhaust pipes right out

Qatar Pinoy Riders at 1st Round of WSBK 2008 Losail International Circuit
From MCP member bibs.
As promised the Qatar Pinoy Riders are present once again to witness the staging of this year’s first big racing event the first round of the 2008 WSBK season held at Losail International Circuit Qatar.
This time we are not just mere spectators but also partly a participant of the event as we are now slowly being recognized by the different motorcycle community and teams here in Qatar. With Pinoy technicians and Pinoy riders a familiar fixture in the local bike scene.
That is why when the second leg of the Qatar International Road Racing Championship (QIRRCH) was held as a side event of WSBK on day two it was QPR’s time to shine. Team PITSTOP of Qatar fielded a Spanish rider (Victor Carrasco) on the local event and the team manager wanted to gather a group of supporters to cheer the foreign rider. So the call was made to Yadzky and everything was put in place. The task was to gather 40 individuals who would carry the colors of Team PITSTOP at the grandstand. As a compliment we were given free t-shirts and complimentary passes with special access to the paddocks and of course the PIT LANE WALK. I was not part of the “cheering squad” though as I volunteered as a track marshall just for the experience. But of course Yadzky gave me my complimentary pass which I reserved on day three.
With QPR’s support it was a succesful race for the local series and to put the icing on the cake Victor Carrasco won with a best lap of 2:04 beating Qatar’s number one rider Mishal while the banners of PITSTOP and QATAR PINOY RIDERS are flying in the grandstand.
Day three was a different story. With our complimentary passes we had the priviledge to really be “inside” Losail Circuit. The word of the day was “ambush” as we were like hungry predators waiting for our prey. We all know that this is a once in a lifetime experience so whenever we had the oppurtunity to take our pictures with a famous rider we did not hesitate to make the “kill”. Howitzer being the most armed and dangerous.
With our persistence we were able to satisfy our hunger. It was a very rewarding experience as we had the chance to rub shoulders with the likes of Biaggi, Xaus, Corser, Haga etc.. Our fellow QPR Bandong even had his helmet autographed by Xaus and Biaggi. Hundreds of pictures were taken and a short video was taken with Jjem walking side by side with Max.
The story does not end there. Just after race two Pirelli organized a fun ride inside the circuit and the participants were given the chance to run 3 laps on controlled speed with pace cars in front and at the back of the pack. The riders were mostly expat bike enthusiasts living here in Qatar and of course QPR was represented by Bandong, Ravenal, Patrick and Al.
Truly it was a wonderful weekend for everybody and MCP was proudly represented.
Love and Sacrifice
Someone emailed me this story and it got to me.
Two teenagers going over 100 mph..
female: Slow down. I'm scared.
male: No, this is fun.
female: No, it's not. Please, it's too scary!
male: Then tell me you love me.
female: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
male: Now give me a BIG hug.
*female hugs him*
male: Can you take my helmet off & wear it yourself? It's bugging me. .
In the paper the next day:
A motorcycle crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

Computer Networking
Computer Networking is composed of multiple connected computers that communicate over a wired or wireless medium to share data and other resources. For instance, a home computer network may consist of two or more computers that share files and a printer using the network. The size and scalability of any computer network are determined both by the physical medium of communication and by the software controlling the communication.
Computer networking is the engineering discipline concerned with communication between computer system or devices. Networking, routers, routing protocols, and networking over the public Internet have their specifications defined in documents called RFCs
Communicating computer systems constitute a computer networking and these networks generally involve at least two devices capable of being networked with at least one usually being a computer. The devices can be separated by a few meters (e.g. via Bluetooth) or nearly unlimited distances (e.g. via the Internet). Computer networking is sometimes considered a sub-discipline of telecommuncation, and sometimes of computer scince, information technology and computer engineering. Computer networks rely heavily upon the theoretical and practical application of these scientific and engineering disciplines.
A computer network is any set of computers or devices connected to each other. Examples of networks are the Internet, or a small home local area network (LAN) with two computers connected with standard networking cables connecting to a network interface card in each computer. All modern aspects of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) are computer-controlled, and telephony increasingly runs over the Internet Protocol, although not necessarily the public Internet.

Dragrace
Several things are important on the way down the track in drag racing. The first is not to cross into the opponent's lane, as this will result in disqualification. In case of a double disqualification in which one driver commits a foul start and the second driver crosses into his opponent's lane, the driver who committed the foul start wins. Another important consideration is when to shift gears. Most drag motorcycle are shifted manually by the driver, and there are optimum times for shifting that vary with each motorcycle. Typically, power will increase as the engine RPMs (revolutions per minute) increase, but only up to a point before power begins to taper off. The ideal time to shift is at the peak power point. Most drag racers use a tachometer to judge shift points. In Fuel classes especially, "pedalling" the motorcycle (adjusting the throttle) to prevent loss of traction is often important and one measure of how good a driver is.
Strategies for crossing the finish line usually only involve bracket racing (see above). If one motorcycle has a huge lead, it may slow down before crossing the finish line to prevent a breakout. Especially in bracket racing, it is not uncommon to see the leading motorcycle's brake lights come on briefly before the finish line.
If both motorcycles break out, the motorcycle closer to their dial-in wins. In NHRA Junior Dragster racing, however, there is a maximum elapsed time where a motorcycle which is faster than the maximum permissible time is ejected from the entire race. This is faster than the official break out elapsed time.

MARCUS
Davelock July 13th, 2007, 06:14 AM
I Would like to share to all of you a story of my friend.
This just happened a couple of months ago.
This story happened near Manila,Philippines.
Let's just hide this boy's name to Marcus.
Marcus is a boy who's passion is motorcycles., specifically underbone bikes. He really loves to ride. he isn't into racing, but he likes going out with fellow riders. Unfortunately for him, he is underage, so he falsified his License documents. He has been riding bikes for a couple of years, he also encountered accidents, acquiring bruises., etc. With the absence of a father, he became somewhat carefree. (He (Marcus) is going to school, FYI.)
His family is of course, strongly opposes his passion to ride. They are trying to discouragehim from riding because of this reasons:1.underage2.risky,dangerous,deadly,etc. etc.3.finish his studies first. So this became downright complicated. (I am also trying to help their family, so I think those of you, fellow riders who will read this will also help.)
Then happened when someone concerned to him, tried talking to his friends, (in a nice way) to somehow stay away from him, Which Marcus later on knew, so he became very furious. This "talking to his friends" occured frequently so that this people will avoid Marcus. (But he still continued to ride)So came this day when some "malas" happened to him, he met an accident wherein he bumped with a crossing pedestrian. He was thrown away from his bike but nothing fatal, just serious bruises. Unfortunately, for the pedestrian, was hit, and after being brought to the hospital, passed away. After the police investigation, blotter, etc. etc. An off-court settlement was made. After the smoke has cleared, comes a new problem, Marcus, of course, still wants to ride, but because of people close to him are already afraid that something similar to what happened to him will happen again, won't let him.So Marcus made himself "kulong" in his house, not going out until a motorcycle comes.
They even got a counseor/therapist to help, but to no avail. Up to now his situation is still in the house, and not going out. It's been for quite some time now. He still wants to ride.....Hope u can help! Thanks!More power to u all!
Maybe I'm wrong?
Dave.
